Let’s Meet Our Tumblr Fans (Part 1 of 1,000)

endlessfigment

Liked my post “The First Text You Send to Your New Crush.” Thanks!

Endless Figment has kind of a mystical thing going on. The blog is described as “The pure figments of my imagination and much more…more like the hollow anals [sic] of my thought process that brought me to this; either way its purely imagination.” There’s a link to a page that elaborates: “Crack the hard exterior to find the vunerable interior of yours, and thus you will begin your journey from within.” My texting post was definitely all about the vulnerable interior, so I see what we have in common.

There’s not a lot more to know about Endless Figment, since he/she has only posted seven posts, one of which is an unanswered question from Tumblrbot. He or she runs, likes the band Hello Seahorse, and has confusing thoughts about the relationship between reality and fiction. This post seems to sum up the philosophy of Endless Figment: “INVENT YOUR OWN REALITY TO NOT GET LOST IN SURREALITY.”

expectdelay

Liked Dunstan McGill’s post “Things NASA Scientists Should Do Now That the Space Shuttles Are Gone.”

Expect Delay has a very minimalist theme, which I think Becky would like. Expect Delay just sealed the deal on a breakup and is bouncing back with Smashing Pumpkins and King of the Hill. He/she has fans in Irving, Texas and among the fathers of Rock of Love contestants. He/she is a little derp, but is clever enough to collect a box of Polaroids that looks like quite a conversation piece. He/she has a freshly-made galaxy shirt and is in some kind of cool class where you get to write papers on Blade Runner. The crown of Expect Delay’s blog, though, is this amazing image from the set of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, a movie I’ve recently rekindled my abiding love for.

The fact that this post has 2,047 notes warms my heart. All in all, I think Expect Delay and I would have lots to talk about.

ladyraraworld

Liked Becky’s post “Life’s Hard Questions—Answered by Teen Magazines.”

Lady RaRa, a native Glaswegian, is relatively new to Tumblr, but she maintains a Blogspot blog where she posts extended, opinionated reflections about her life teaching in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has a significant other named Euan, and she draws cute cartoons about his family visiting Indonesia.

Other topics Lady RaRa covers include a review of Boy George’s Jakarta DJ set (complete with photos of the Boy spinning and the Lady dancing), sexy milk, and hallucinogenic cocktails. Not much of this has made it onto her Tumblr yet, but look at what does. Gah!

I give Lady RaRa a big thumbs up. Thanks, Internet!
